Continued from the FSF Explosive
Connor inhaled deeply, the smoke of his cigarette settling into his lungs like a thick fog in London.
“I think you're bluffing, because I would have heard a landmine go ‘click’,” McElroy sneered, grinding the barrel of the gun against Connor’s head.
Connor slowly turned as smoke drifted from his nostrils, making him look like an ancient dragon, until the barrel of the gun was dragged to the center of his forehead, before saying, “What you really want to do is let me walk out of her and call a bomb squad for you, before you find out what a Bouncing Betty can do to a man.”
McElroy smiled, lifted one foot, set it back down, and lifted the other, the distinct lack of an explosion lying heavily on Connor’s bluff.
“Well, fuck,” Connor sighed, before flicking the cigarette into McElroy’s eyes and going for the gun.

Five Sentence Fiction - Candy
"Hey, Cindy, I'm back, I got us-" Jackson's words were cut off as he looked around, and saw that Cindy was now sitting on the other side of the playground, next to a dark haired boy. They each had a small cone, the vanilla chocolate swirl bleeding a thin line down their hands and dripping into the sand underneath the swing set.
"Hey Jackson, you know I was just kidding about wanting one of those, right?”
“Yea, I know, this one is for me,” replied Jackson, waving back with a rainbow colored candy the size of a dinner plate, with A Lollypop Built For Two emblazoned on it in neon letters.

Five Sentence Fiction - Explosive
Connor dragged the head of an old waterproof match against the caustic strip of it’s package, and brought it to the cigarette perched between his lips. “You know something, I think I’ll write about this later.” McElroy had previously eased the hammer down on his revolver, now pressed against the back of Connor's head, just so he now had the privilege of cocking it back into place, giving off a satisfyingly threatening echo.
“Just what the hell makes you think you’ll get out of this alive?”
“Well, for one thing,” Connor replied, “I’m not the one standing on a landmine.”

What I think about when I'm bored...
The man jumped through the window; landing feet first and continuing into a roll. He stumbled to his feet, continuing to run. The wall behind him erupted into a volcano of bricks and splinters as the Behemoth made its rage known. Crashing through the side of the building, the creature stood 4 stories tall, and was covered in scales the color of mud. It’s amorphous blob-like appearance shifted in the night as it lulled after the man, shooting out spongy limbs to latch onto the ground and pull itself forward, lunging its massive frame in short spurts.
