"Hey, Cindy, I'm back, I got us-" Jackson's words were cut off as he looked around, and saw that Cindy was now sitting on the other side of the playground, next to a dark haired boy. They each had a small cone, the vanilla chocolate swirl bleeding a thin line down their hands and dripping into the sand underneath the swing set.
"Hey Jackson, you know I was just kidding about wanting one of those, right?”
“Yea, I know, this one is for me,” replied Jackson, waving back with a rainbow colored candy the size of a dinner plate, with A Lollypop Built For Two emblazoned on it in neon letters.
